Ahead of her is the article of her longing: shelves lined with Fulla in a variety of guises and some of her more than 200 trimmings – counting prayer rugs, prayer beads, portable Karaoke players, in-line skates, social gathering dresses and beach balls.

It is virtually unfeasible to walk into a corner shop in Jordan or Egypt or Syria or Qatar without seeing Fulla breakfast cereal or chewing gum or not to observe little girls pedaling downward the road on their Fulla bicycles.
