Fulla- Instilling Values for Little Girls

Recently, the Islamic little girls are going crazy over their new fascination- an icon- the Fulla dolls. This Fulla doll has made it to every toy store in the Middle Eastern market and is unstoppable. Not only are kids happy about the Fulla but the parents who buy their daughters the dolls are even happier.

Not Just A Fashion Doll
Clearly, this is so because Fulla is not just a fashion doll where the kids play dress up and make up but she is something more. Fulla that portrays a character that resembles that of how Muslim women should be also displays an image that is well respected. Fulla instills values for little girls even so without her saying or preaching but it is very evident in her way of life.

Fulla as a doll mostly respects her self. Given that, she wears the traditional abaya with a head scarf. There are still a lot of outdoor wardrobes for her that you can buy separately but usually it can be seen wearing the traditional dress. And yet despite that she does not forget to read books at night and pray before going to bed. That is why she also has a pink tiny praying mat that she uses for praying.

Also, Fulla respects her mother and father so much. And unlike the western Barbie who has a boyfriend named Ken, she does not have any. She respects her parents and follows them when they say that she should not engage in any kind of relationship prior to her marriage.

Fulla also prepares herself for the future and this is something that encourages the kids to follow in the future. Fulla has two careers which they believe is the most respected jobs among others and this is a Fulla doctor and a Fulla teacher. Both careers display a person full with knowledge and wisdom and are ready to take on the future. Fulla is an educated doll and is very willing to make the world a better place someday.

Fun With Fulla
So playing with Fulla is never a dull moment. The kids get to play with it but at the same time learn new things most especially keeping their values. They are encouraged to live the Islam way and essentially preserve the culture. Indeed, the Fulla doll did not fail to instill values to the little girls.
